Avon and James Bond have teamed up to create the Bond Girl EDP - giving women everywhere the opportunity to feel the same "confident allure" of some of film's sexiest ever female icons.

The perfume has been released now (October 2008) to coincide with the release of "Quantum of Solace", the latest Bond film. The film is released in the UK on the 31st October, but American audiences will have to wait until the 14th November to see Daniel Craig's second outing as the world's favourite spy.

The latest Bond Girl - Agent Fields, played by British actress Gemma Arterton, is the face of the new fragrance, and is featured in the print and TV advertising for the new scent. Gemma says of her new role: "I'm thrilled to be working with two such iconic and established brands", going on to explain "the Bond Girl 007 fragrance embodies everything a Bond Girl represents -- intelligence, sexiness and confidence".

The Firmenich created perfume is designed to evoke the glamour, confidence and sensuality of the iconic Bond femmes fatales. The scent is "a sexy cocktail of velvety florals, cool freshness and warm woods", featuring "top notes of velvety white peach and orange blossom followed by mid-notes of jasmine, calypso orchid and freesia. The drydown consists of amber, cashmere wood and patchouli".
